Connor had his first swimming lesson today! It was so cute watching him getting SO excited about getting out of the door and going swimming. He couldn't wait! Connor went with his Daddy so I got him to write a summary of how swimming went today. It's a great Daddy/Son activity especially when the little one arrives...
"I took Connor to swimming lessons today. He was excited about it and talked it about it on the trip there. Once we got there though some hesitation crept in. One of the swimming instructors asked if Connor wanted to go swimming – he responded ‘no’ and promptly tried to sprint back to the change room. After repeated denials – Connor finally gave in and entered the pool – he found the water cold (it wasn’t that warm.) He didn’t really feel comfortable enough in the water to do the exercises the swimming instructor showed – but at times he did seem to have fun.
Also the swimming instructor went around and asked the kids what animal they wanted to be – for a singing game, the usual answers were shark,octopus,dolphin,etc – I offered the idea of Cow – she over-ruled me and went with gold fish - *yawn.*
Overall it went well, though Connor still probably needs more time in the pool to get comfortable with doing more activities."

Lol!!! That's so funny! So cute! Glad that you both put Connor up for swimming lessons...good start for his age to learn how to swim safely and strongly :D Who knows he could be the next Michael Phelps ;) Lol.
